Jobeshill Octavia represents England and Jobeshill Ragnor of Flypatch represents Wales at the CLA Game Fair held at Blenheim Palace July 22nd - 24th GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU
Jobeshill Octavia to represent England - Laura Hill has been chosen for the English Team for the Skinners' International Retriver World Cup Event at Highclere at the end of May and the CLA Gamefair at the end of July - well done Laura, a fantastic achievement, I am so proud of you both!!!!!
THEY WON!!!! Many Congratulations, Wales was 2nd and Holland 3rd.
Jobeshill Octavia also represents England in Team Great Britain at the Kennel Club International Event at Chatsworth - they were 3rd by 2 points!! Well Done. Germany was 1st, and Sweden 2nd
Didier and Nicole Rueegg from Switzerland came to stay for a week's training. They are very dedicated to their training and trial and compete in France and Germany. I hope they have enjoyed their training and taken home with them new ideas and happy memories.
Whilst here Didier entered the Midland Gundog Society Special Puppy Working Test and came a very creditable 4th - Corrcastle Jay's first English Award!!!!

They have been in England for 3 weeks visiting various trainers and breeders. Next year Didier is in charge of the Gundog Events in Switzerland so we wish him luck and maybe they will be back to compete in our Field Trials.
The Swedish Team stayed with Jobeshill Gundogs and we had several good days training.
JOBESHILL MAGNUS wins the Kennel Club Novice Working Test at Chatsworth, he only dropped 1 point all day!
JOBESHILL OCTAVIA AND JOBESHILL LOTTA OF STAUNTONVALE were in the awards in the Open Test, only 8 dogs managed to survive to the run-off, well done Laura Hill to have two of those dogs. Jobeshill Octavia (Pru) was 2nd and Jobeshill Lotta (Bea) was 4th.

Jobeshill Magnus to be used at stud by Ettinsmoor Labradors - Magnus mated with Ettinsmoor Spice on 14th April. She was 2nd, out of a class of 25, in the BASC Gamekeepers Ring, Picking Up Labrador Retriever Bitch Class at Crufts this year - for more information see www.ettinsmoorlabradors
9 puppies were born on the 14th of June, happy news for Ettinsmoor, Spice and Magnus!!!
Jane invited to judge Championships in Finland later this year, also invited to give courses in Sweden, Germany and Norway. Unfortunately I am not able to go to any of them. We will try to re-arrange things for next year.

Jobeshill go to Sweden and Norway teaching for six weeks. We had a wonderful time and were spoilt by our host Inga-Lena and Bengt Djurberg in Falun. Many new friends were made and we hope to see them all again in 2011.

Jobeshill Tatania and Jobeshill Valfrid of Avonford represent the United Retriever Midlands at the United Retriever Team Finals
Jobeshill Iago becomes a Champion in Finland and is a member of the winning team at the International Working Test in Norway

Jane goes to Sweden to give Field Trial Training Class with Laura Hill and judge the Skinners Working Test at Gagnef. The other Judges were Laura Hill (England) Ronald van de Hull (Holland) Birgitta Staflund Wiberg (Sweden) and Janne Wiberg (Sweden)
Jobeshill Gundogs presented the Jobeshill Pepetual Trophy to the winner of the Open Class, Soren Noren with Justlike Kronprins Federick - Skinner.
Autumn
In September Inga-lena Djurberg joined us for three months to train and compete with her labradors, Searover's Kit Dike, Jobeshill Iago and Levenghyl Firestone. She picked up regularly on local shoots and was very successful in Open Field Trials with Jobeshill Iago who was second in two two-day qualifying open stakes, had he been second in only one more she would have gone to the Championships. This was a fantastic achievement for them both, well done Inga-Lena and Iago.
