Jobeshill Gundogs: dog training, breeding & boarding in Ashbourne Derbyshire

Jobeshill Gundogs prides itself on responsible breeding. All our dogs are clear of prcdPRA, CNM and have their eyes tested by a Kennel Club Accredited Vet on an annual basis. Our Stud Dog, Jobeshill Magnus, is also tested for EIC (Excercise Induced Collapse) and is clear. They have good hip and elbow test results. They are also innoculated against rabies so they can travel in Europe.

Our puppies have been sent to Sweden and Denmark where they have had great success, Jobeshill Iago is a Nordic Champion ie a Champion in Sweden, Finland and Norway, Jobeshill Olof was the youngest dog to qualify for the Danish Championships this year. In England we have Field Trial Champion Jobeshill Octavia, and at the age of two, three of the last litter are now Open Field Trial Dogs.

Their temperament is superb, they are biddable and easy to train, stylish and with very good game finding abilities. Most of them compete and pick-up on a regular basis. As pets they are soft, easy to have around and very loyal.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. Author unknown.

Bonnie was mated to Field Trial Champion Adoraden Quinn on 1st March. The puppies arrived on 29th of April as Kate Middleton walked up the aisle at Westminster Abbey!!! To see more about them please click here

Brimson has been the dog I have dreamt of owning. He has been the easiest dog to train that I have ever had. He is always honest, calm, and he lives to please. He is very steady even in the toughest of situations.
At just two years old he won an Open Working Test and has already won an Open Field Trial which qualified him for the Danish Championships. He is a healthy, strong and handsome dog. Brimson is the perfect dog and companion for me and I am really looking forward to next year's hunting season and to competing with him again.
